MEAD PUBLIC
LIBRARY NEWS By Nancy Black, Library Director
SAVE
THE DATE: October 4th,
2014 Saturday at Noon - 2:00 p.m. for "Beauty & Blindfolded
Books" at the Mead Public Library. We are happy to invite you to
spend an hour or two learning about Fall/Winter skin & hair care then pick
out a blindfolded book! (A selection of books will be wrapped in plain
label so that "the book cannot be judged by its cover".) Once
you have read your selected book there will be a space to comment on the back
whether you liked the book or not...then bring it back and select another!
There will be FOOD, FUN and a DOORPRIZE or two!
The
Mead Public Library is VERY HAPPY to report that during the past fiscal year we
have saved the residents of Mead, NE library card holders $36,158.78 on book,
movies, magazines and more that they were able to check out rather than
purchase!
Fall
is here and soon on its heels is Winter. Is there a good book you'd like
to cozy up with? Call or stop by the library and put in your request.
We'll see YOU at the library!
