Mead Library News—July 2007
By Vera Kuhr, Librarian

Summer reading has wound down with Amber Koelmel having read the most books, Shelby Kuhr second, and Andrew Kuhr third. I am looking for ways to attract more children to read and would appreciate input from parents to make it more appealing to the children. Summer is such a busy time and before you turn around school has started.

The library is in the final stages of getting software to put the library’s collection on the internet. This is being done in cooperation with the other five libraries in Saunders County so you will be able to access the collections of all six libraries.

NEW MATERIALS: Adult—The 6th Target by James Patterson, Bungalow 2 by Danielle Steele, Double Take by Catherine Coulter, The Good Guy by Dean Koontz, I Heard That Song Before by Mary Higgins Clark, Invisible Prey by John Sandford, The Marriage Game by Fern Michaels and Whitewash by Alex Kava.
